Canmore Surprise Proposal

When Blake reached out to me 7 months before this moment and told me he planned on proposing, I was ecstatic.

We started off by trying to secure a date that would work for all parties. Blake was currently living in the states for school while Jenell stayed back home in Edmonton. On top of all that, the big ole C word was still very much controlling all life.

Finally we solidified a plan A and a backup plan to make sure we both knew what to do in case things went a little sideways. Jenell thought they were going on a little weekend getaway to the mountains, but of course was a cover for Blake to pop the question.

Luckily I am close friends with them and I had coincidentally asked Jenell if they would be open to modelling for me because I “happened” to be in Canmore as well.

We arrived on the morning of and you could feel the excitement and nerves in the air. We started off with a few casual shots to get them warmed up before I gave the cue to Blake that it was time.

She had her back turned and when she. turned back around Blake was already in position. Obviously SHE SAID YES!!! We finished up the rest of their shoot as an actual engagement shoot and then headed for brunch and mimosas to celebrate.
