An Intimate Victoria Island Wedding- Cassidi & Sorn

Like so many couples, Cassidi and Sorn’s wedding plans were impacted by the pandemic. Originally expecting over 150 guests, they took the time to reflect on what truly mattered to them and decided to pare down their guest list to just 60 close friends and family. It turned out to be the best decision they could have made for their special day, creating an intimate and personal celebration in Victoria, British Colombia.

The day started off calmly, with Cassidi getting ready before heading to the ceremony at “The Beach House,” a stunning venue where the ocean served as the perfect backdrop. The ceremony took place right on the beach, and although it drizzled a bit, no one seemed to mind—the atmosphere was filled with joy and love. One of the sweetest moments was during their first kiss, when their child played in the sand behind them, making it a truly heartfelt and genuine moment.

After the ceremony, we ventured to a nearby location for some photos. Cassidi kicked off her shoes and ran barefoot along the beach, embracing the freedom and joy of the day. It was a beautiful, spontaneous moment that perfectly reflected her and Sorn’s fun-loving spirit.

Later in the evening, something magical happened—a rainbow appeared during the reception, adding a serene and special touch to the already unforgettable day. With just their closest loved ones in attendance, the atmosphere felt perfect, and the intimate setting allowed everyone to truly connect and celebrate.

As the twilight hour approached, we snuck away for more photos with Cassidi, Sorn, and their son. The golden light combined with the peacefulness of the beach made for some stunning shots. The night continued with their first dance, followed by an evening of celebration that felt perfectly them.
