A Tofino Engagement Adventure on Vancouver Island - Charday & Tim:

Charday and Tim’s engagement session was the perfect blend of adventure and romance, set against the stunning backdrop of Tofino on Vancouver Island. Although Tim’s parents have a place on the island, they wanted to make their engagement session extra special, so they rented an Airbnb for the weekend right on the beach, complete with an incredible view.

We started the session on the cedar trails in the forest, with the sun shining through the trees, creating a beautiful glow to kick off the evening. As the session progressed, the weather shifted—clouds began to roll in, bringing a touch of fog that added to the quintessential Tofino vibe. Charday and Tim embraced the changing weather and made the most of the unique atmosphere.

Their two dogs joined the fun, running around and playing as we explored the cliffside and beach areas. Charday and Tim’s love for their dogs was so apparent, and it made the session even more personal and relaxed. After spending some time with their pups, the two of them ventured into the water, carefree and happy. I always love when couples embrace the ocean and let go of any worries about their outfits—it’s those spontaneous, unguarded moments that truly capture the essence of their relationship.

The combination of the forest, cliffs, and beach created such a dynamic setting, and the fog rolling in made it feel even more like a true Tofino adventure. This session was all about fun, love, and embracing the beauty of Vancouver Island’s wild coast.
