An Elk Island Engagement - Wyatt & Jess

There’s something magical about having a beautiful location all to yourself, and that’s exactly what Jess and Wyatt experienced during their engagement session at Elk Island. We headed out to the beach at sunset, and to our surprise, we had the whole place to ourselves. The calm, serene atmosphere set the perfect stage for capturing their love story.

Jess and Wyatt kicked off their shoes and wandered barefoot in the sand, savoring the peaceful surroundings. As they strolled hand in hand along the water’s edge, a funny (and slightly unexpected) moment happened—a leech decided to join the party by attaching itself to Jess’s foot! While the rest of us were freaking out a bit, Jess stayed impressively calm, and Wyatt quickly came to the rescue, pulling the little intruder off. After that, we all agreed it was probably best to stay out of the water!

Undeterred by the leech incident, we continued to explore the area, capturing many more beautiful photos as the evening unfolded. From the beach to the grassy trails, Jess and Wyatt’s love shone through in every shot, making the most of the stunning Elk Island backdrop.

As the sun dipped lower in the sky, we made our way to the dock. Jess and Wyatt sat together, gazing out at the stunning sunset, soaking in the quiet beauty of the evening. It was a perfect end to a memorable shoot, filled with laughter, love, and a little adventure.
